Introduction

Call me Sweet. I have many interests, but the one I'm going to talk about here is writing. I don't write novels, just short stories and a little poetry, though I'd rather read poetry than write my own. The truth is that I spend more time reading than I do writing. Thriller and mystery novels and humorous works by the likes of Douglas Coupland and Christopher Moore are my pastime reads. I don't have a favorite book because I like so many, but if asked which one I could read again and again, it would be The Witches of Eastwick by John Updike. However, the novels, essays and short stories of Stephen King have held a special place in my heart ever since I read Salem's Lot my freshman year of high school.
